Reading is a vital part of human life; it expands knowledge and creates meaning. In ancient times, clay tablets, wood, silk – any material that could hold and transmit text – were used to document events and share stories.
Now here we are — in the 21st Century – where wood, silk and even paper has been substituted by electronic devices such as the Kindle, Nook or iPhone. Clay tablets are now electronic tablets. Silk screens are now computer screens.
